About Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology Taping is used for rehab and injury prevention for common strains, pains and conditions. It's a temporary treatment and can help with conditions such as but not limited to:

  • General pain

  • Inflammation

  • Carpal tunnel

  • Ankle strains

  • Knee issues

  • Tennis elbow

  • Arthritis

Kinesiology taping was developed in 1979 by Dr Kenzo Kase, who was a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist.

The tape is used to regain structural function and often seen on tennis players and athletes as a preventative measure to avoid injuries where there may be a weakness.

Kinesiology tape can be applied to an area after soft tissue massage to prolong the effects of the massage treatment.
